Admissions

Individuals may be referred for an assessment to any of these programs by a general practitioner, psychiatrist, psychologist, or other mental health professional either in private practice or associates with other hospitals. Inquiries may also be made by family members or patients themselves by calling 1-800-477-3422. During the assessment, a mental health professional will work with you to determine the next appropriate step for you.

Programs are offered on various schedules, such as days, evenings, weekends and combinations of these. Following an assessment the treatment options will be given that best meet the client's needs, and because some are used as a transitional step between an initial crisis and re-entry into daily living activities, a patient may be phased into a more brief duration of treatment than normal, depending on (his or her) needs.

The Parkwood continuum of care is designed to make behavioral health care available at different levels of need. It is easy to access the full range of Parkwood's levels of care.

IT STARTS WITH A PHONE CALL.

When you or someone you love is experiencing emotional, behavioral or addictive disease problems, it's hard to know what to do. That's why Parkwood offers a no-charge assessment to help you determine what is needed and what the next step should be.

To schedule a no-charge assessment, or referral to another appropriate provider, call 1-800-477-3422 (24 hours a day/7 days a week).
