Parkwood Behavioral Health System asks each
patient who occupies one of its 112 beds to complete a quality survey at
discharge. The survey encompasses 19 specific areas of the treatment process.
The results are correlated each month and compared to other facilities in our
corporate system. Parkwood continues to score at or above the corporate average
in the majority of the areas. All
the data from these surveys is reviewed to allow for opportunities for growth
and change. The results are proudly displayed in our lobby and other areas of
the hospital.
The openness of our displaying survey
results has resulted in comments from visitors, family members, patients and
staff. We even had a patient choose our facility because we were honest enough
to show this to the public.
The following charts and graphs will show the outcome of our survey:
Shows
individual survey questions and the results of our facility. The range of
numbers is 1.00 to 5.00, with 1.00 indicating a score of poor and 5.00
indicating a score of excellent.
Trending
for third quarter of 2002 to the second quarter of 2003 indicates we continue to
be above our internal benchmark of 3.5.
