Business & Industry: Community Relations

Parkwood offers many services to the communities we serve. These services include:

  • Educational In-services – There is no charge for these in-services, which are conducted by one of our Community Relations Managers, or by our clinical staff, when available. In 2002 we conducted over 300 such speaking engagements.

  • Mobile Crisis Response Team – When a tragedy or crisis happens at your place of business, you can call Parkwood Hospital to come and provide counseling to those effected. Once called, our team has responded to such incidents as suicide in a police department, school shooting where students and or teachers were injured or killed, suicide of a student, debriefing of police officers directly involved in shooting, death of a teacher during the school year, and blast killing 2 firefighters, to name a few. If you are in need of this service call Parkwood at 800/477-3422 and ask for the Mobile Crisis Team Leader.
